Care Advice

Light
Your arrangement needs light! We mark each label to help you place it in the perfect spot.
FS - these plants need full sun - a south facing windowsill is ideal, or beneath a skylight.
BI - This arrangement will prefer bright indirect light - full sun may scorch its leaves.
SH - These plants will cope with shade - but monitor them carefully if placing in a particularly gloomy corner.
Most indoor plants will start to grow towards the light, so to keep your arrangement balanced you may like to turn it from time to time. Alternatively, you can take the guess work out of it all by providing a plant light - available at at Bazaar or from our online shop.

Water
Our arrangements are planted directly into their antique pots. They have a generous layer of gravel at the bottom to act as a reservoir, but care must be taken not to over-water. We have marked each arrangement according to its needs.
D - allow to dry between waterings and water minimally during winter.
M - maintain some moisture. Expect to water sparingly once a week, or once a fortnight in winter.
H - offer some humidity. These plants prefer a bathroom environment, or regular misting. Not all humid plants like regular watering at the root - maintain moisture, but take care not to over-water.
For all arrangements, if in doubt, try a drought! It is easier to revive most plants from under-watering than over-watering. Finally, if you want to offer your arrangement some extra love, try watering with rain water.

Food
During the growing season you may choose to feed your arrangement. We recommend adding food at half dilution during watering in the summer months.
